Hardware · automated publishing
A Rimage disc publisher automates the whole job: it burns your data to CD, DVD or Blu-ray and prints a full-colour label directly on the disc, then stacks the finished discs for you. No manual loading, no separate printing step.
Every Rimage publisher combines three things in one enclosure — a robotic arm, one or more disc recorders, and an inline printer — controlled by software that turns a job into finished, labelled discs.
| Stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| Load | The robotic arm picks a blank disc from the input bin. |
| Record | One or more drives burn your data, audio or video to the disc. |
| An inline thermal or inkjet printer applies a full-colour on-disc label. | |
| Output | Finished discs are stacked, ready to collect — fully unattended. |
Choosing a system
Compact desktop publishers for steady departmental volumes — common in clinics, labs and small production.
Floor-standing systems with multiple drives and large bins for continuous, high-throughput runs.
Thermal retransfer gives the most durable, photo-quality labels; inkjet is lower cost per disc. We'll advise.
Tell us your daily disc volume and what you're publishing, and we'll recommend the right configuration rather than overselling capacity you won't use.
We supply current systems and tested, warrantied refurbished units where budget matters.
Media kits and thermal film matched to your exact model — ordered in one place.
Preventive maintenance and repair keep publishers running well past their first owner.
Send your Rimage model number and we'll match the exact hardware, media kit or film and quote it.
