Thermal retransfer film is what gives Rimage thermal printers their hard-wearing, photo-quality disc labels. The printer lays colour onto a clear film, then fuses that film onto the disc surface — the result resists water, scratches and fading far better than inkjet.
If your discs need to survive handling, archiving or clinical environments, thermal film is usually the right call.
